Men

The third Saturday of each month the men gather together for a Prayer Breakfast. This is a casual, encouraging fellowship time for all men in the church. Listen to testimonies and special speakers as you enjoy pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns or whatever else we feel like making.

We also join other Church of God men from around the state at the annual Men’s Retreat.

Women

The second Saturday of each month the women gather together for a “brown bag” Prayer Breakfast. This is a casual, encouraging fellowship time fo all women in the Church. Four times a year, the women meet on an evening for a rally – a time of worship, fellowship and sharing common bonds in the Lord. One meeting might be for making mission packets. Another, to hear a special speaker on a relevant topic. And another, for just fun, food and fellowship.

We also meet at other times for an evening of crafting, scrapbooking, cooking lessons, cleaning or various other ministries that help meet the needs of our church family.

Annually the women sponsor a Christmas Bazaar and Flea Market as fund raisers. We also join the state organization for an annual Women’s Retreat.

The women help with many other ministries of the church such as Bible Studies, Prayer Sisters, Funeral Dinners, Wedding Receptions, Costumes for performances, and Baby and Newcomer Baskets.

J.O.Y. Fellowship

Just Older Youth is a ministry for those 50 years of age and older. Some of us still work and some of us are retired.

While this is a social organization, because we love the Lord and life, we take time for worship and fellowship. We meet the third Tuesday of each month for Christian fellowship, devotions, and good times shared with friends. We have potluck dinners, desserts, picnics, game nights, day trips and informational meetings.
